When will I be charged for a bid?

When participating in an auction on Rankbid, you enter the amount you wish to bid. To ensure your bid is valid, you must authorize a payment on your credit card for the bid amount. This authorization serves as a guarantee that sufficient funds are available in your account should you win the auction.

Rest assured, you will not be charged if you do not win the auction. Although the authorized amount may appear as a pending charge on your bank statement or app, it is not a finalized payment. If you do not win, the funds will typically be released back to your account within a few days after the auction concludes.

You will be charged only if you win the auction. Once the auction ends, the authorized funds are captured from your credit card, finalizing the payment. If, for any reason, the payment cannot be captured, you will be disqualified as the auction winner, and the next highest bidder will be awarded the auction.
